Electrical Services

All electrical work completed by TH Electrical is carried out with care, professionalism, and in accordance with current UK electrical regulations and recognised industry standards.

Our services include domestic electrical work, commercial electrical installations, fuse board upgrades, new build electrical installations, EV charger installations, solar panel systems, battery storage solutions, repairs, inspections, and maintenance.

Quotes and Estimates

Any quotation provided by TH Electrical is based on the information available at the time of assessment. Quotations remain valid for the period stated within the quotation unless otherwise agreed.

Prices may change if:

  • The scope of work changes
  • Additional materials or labour are required
  • Hidden faults or unsafe conditions are discovered
  • Existing installations require additional remedial work
  • Access conditions differ from those originally assessed

Any additional work required will be explained to the customer wherever reasonably possible before proceeding.

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be agreed before work begins. Customers are responsible for ensuring invoices are paid within the agreed timeframe.

TH Electrical reserves the right to request deposits or staged payments for larger projects, installations, specialist works, or where materials need to be purchased in advance.

Refunds and Payments

Due to the nature of electrical services, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Payments for completed works are not refundable where the agreed service has been completed in accordance with the quotation, applicable regulations, and agreed requirements.

Deposits or advance payments may be required for certain projects, materials, or specialist installations. Where materials have been purchased or work has been scheduled, deposits may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.

If you believe there is an issue with our workmanship, please contact us as soon as possible so we can inspect the work and, where appropriate, arrange a suitable resolution.

Consumer Cancellation Rights

Where applicable under UK consumer protection legislation, customers may have the right to cancel an agreement within 14 days of entering into a contract.

If a customer requests that electrical work begins during this cancellation period, they acknowledge that they may lose their right to cancel once the service has been fully completed.

If materials have been specially ordered or work has already started at the customer’s request, charges may apply for services provided up to the point of cancellation.

Emergency Electrical Work

Emergency electrical call-outs are carried out to make electrical systems safe and address immediate risks.

Further investigation, repairs, or additional works may be required after the initial visit. Any additional costs will be explained before proceeding wherever reasonably possible.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about the property and required works
  • Providing safe access to the work area
  • Removing personal belongings or obstacles where required
  • Informing TH Electrical of any known electrical faults, hazards, or restrictions

Existing Electrical Installations

TH Electrical cannot be held responsible for faults, defects, deterioration, or failures within existing electrical installations that were not caused by our work.

Where unsafe conditions, outdated systems, or hidden issues are discovered, additional remedial work may be required to bring the installation up to current safety standards.

Materials and Equipment

Materials supplied by TH Electrical remain the property of TH Electrical until payment has been received in full.

Products and components supplied may be covered by manufacturer warranties. Any warranty claims relating to products may be subject to the manufacturer’s own terms and conditions.

Guarantees and Workmanship

TH Electrical takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and professional electrical services.

Any guarantees provided will be confirmed at the time of quotation or completion. Guarantees may not apply where faults occur due to misuse, accidental damage, third-party alterations, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers should provide as much notice as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

TH Electrical reserves the right to charge for costs incurred where appointments are cancelled without reasonable notice, including booked labour, purchased materials, or preparation work already completed.

Limitation of Liability

TH Electrical will carry out work with reasonable care and skill. We will not be responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Our liability is limited to the value of the services provided, except where liability cannot be limited under UK law.
